Chrismas at the slopes

This is going to be a quick one because I’m typing this on my phone. Utah is great so far.. Just got dumped with a few feet of snow.. But there was an avalanche today at the Canyons — not back country, but INSIDE resort boundaries. This is very uncommon especially on marked trails. I saw the medivac helicopters flying in, landing some 100 yards away. People were lifted out and one guy died.. We were skiing on another peak at the time, but were headed to that region within that hour. Unbelievable….
